Bound separately in grey paper stock withind a deluxe custom binding, quarter vellum and paper over board. The pape is patterned with blue lions and lilies on light background. Gilt spine title. The chapter is titled on the paper binding, with a printed dedication "for my son Timothy", below, a handwritten dedication in ink "For Betty, with very much love, Cecil. Rome 1952..[Betty is the writer Elizabeth Sprigge]
Some browning of cover and end papers at edges, pink staines on back cover. Still a very nich, unique copy.
