Complete in 4 volumes. Original green cloth, black decoration, gilt titles, all edges gilt. Table of Contents in each vol., Complete Index and Preface in vol. IV. All plates are finely tinted and have tissue guards. Collating the volumes, we found that a few of the entries do only have text, no image. However, there is absolutely no sign of removal of pages.
Volumes are generally in very good shape, firm and clean, bright gilt. The the back of vol. I shows some discolouring and deteriatopm. Head and foot of spine of vol. IV are worn.
