All first US editions and noted in Colophon. Black cloth over board, gilt spine titles (Gothic type). We have other first editions of Th. M. in English and German, not catalogued.
Previous owners name on ffep. Gilt titles a bit dulledl. Vol. I and II are a touch offset, Vol. I is in the least shape, with a frayed top edge at the spine and worn corners, vol. II has minimal edge wear, vol. III and IV are in very good shape; all volumes are clean and v.g. inside. The slip case for III is solid, has little wear and sunning. The shortcomings are reflected in the price for this rarely complete matching first edition.
