O. inside the front cover in very small handwriting, with a personal dedication to the Canadian writer Timothy Findley, dated "April 1980 at Adele's (Can. writer Adele Wiseman, 1928-1992) Toronto." On free endpaper signature of Timothy Findley {1930-2002) with addition: "at Boston August, 1978 from Sam Seymour (signature????) publisher Seymour Lawrence (1927-1994) on the day at the Ritz when we sat beneath the blur chandelier." The book has a Subject Index and a Name Index.
The fore edge has the minimal soiling of a read book, otherwise very good plus; dust jacket with a small tear and light warping at top edge, n o t price clipped.
